Hello everyone! We’re showing you some spook-tacular Halloween face painting ideas that you can easily recreate at home. By following along with our video tutorial and simple step-by-step guide, transform into a pumpkin, a bat or even Spider-Man.

What do you need?
For these Halloween face painting ideas you will need:
- water activated face paints;
- paint brushes or makeup brushes;
- makeup sponges;
- Halloween stencils (optional).
Look 1: spiderweb
Step 1 – Using a red face paint on a very thin brush, paint 4 lines diagonally outwards away from the outer corner of the eyes.
Step 2 – Connect the lines by painting semi-circle shapes to create a spiderweb effect.
Step 3 – Use a stencil and some black face paint to draw a spider underneath the web.
Look 2: pumpkin
Step 1 – Using a makeup sponge, stamp some orange face paint all around the eyes in a pumpkin shape.
Step 2 – Take a black face paint on a very thin brush and paint the outline of the pumpkin all the way around where you put the orange, leaving a gap at the top for the stem.
Step 3 – Paint a triangle on the centre of the nose using a black face paint and fill it in.
Step 4 – Use a green face paint to draw the stem of the pumpkin, then also paint an outline around it with a black face paint.
Look 3: Spider-Man
Step 1 – Take some red face paint on a makeup sponge and stamp it all the way around the eyes.
Step 2 – Paint some lines diagonally outwards away from the eyes using a black face paint on a thin brush.
Step 3 – Connect the lines using semi-circle shapes to create a spiderweb effect.
Step 4 – Use a spider stencil and a black face paint to paint some spiders on the cheeks.
Look 4: bat
Step 1 – Using a black face paint on a thin brush, draw an outline of the bat’s wings all the way around the eyes, the bat’s head on the centre of the forehead and the bat’s body down the centre of the nose.
Step 2 – Add some eyes and a big smile to create the bat’s face
Step 3 – Use stencils of choice to add details around the face.
Step 4 – Fill in the bat by using a silver or grey face paint and stamping it on with a makeup sponge.
